G’Day Cap, first couple of days for our severe storms for the south east Queensland, about two to three weeks early, wettest July august for a long time, normally our dry season and fire season.
Sunspots, are in a dip for 2025. Will peak again in late 2026 2027, then minimum then a maximum to rival or exceed the 1950’s maximum
We shall have to sits and waits or is that waits and sits, to see the outcome.
Disconcerting witnessing communism taking hold of our allies to the North. Are Canadians just too polite, well-mannered and timid to fight for their own survival ?

Is it true that there are disasters and ice ages at solar minimum and droughts and food shortages at solar maximum?
Solar minimums occur every 11 years and cause disasters each time.
Was there an ice age at the last solar minimum?
If not, then that was a stupid question, wasn’t it?
The Maunder Minimum and Dalton Minimum are not the same as the 11-year solar minimum cycle:
Solar minimum is the regular period of least solar activity in the Sun’s 11-year solar cycle.

Per the graph, solar cycles 24 & 25 are noticeably lower than SC 21-23, though 25 did bump up in the 50-60 month range.
Also, the begin-end duration of SC 24 contracted a bit. The duration of SC 25, we shall have to see.
Further, one could say a general diminution of recent solar cycles argues in favor of an approaching period of grand solar minimums.
Or, it this thinking faulty?
Beats me, but if that question doesn’t bring Dirk out of the closet, I’ll be much surprised..
